SUSTAINABILITY IN EVERY ASPECT

We have been a “Società Benefit” (an italian legal status for purpose-driven companies), since 2021. Our focus on our people, our territory and community, and the environment, always part of our DNA, has become an established policy.

These commitments are now embedded in the company’s statutory purposes and corporate mission.

We communicate our commitment to our stakeholders in Italy and abroad with transparency through our Sustainability Report, where we report the key results achieved and outline our goals for further improvement in the coming years.

Vista favours the restoration and preservation of landmark buildings that embody the identity of their surroundings, honouring their history and breathing new life into them. For Vista, sustainability is also about embracing each destination with care and respect, choosing lesser-known places rich in history and culture, supporting local communities and encouraging a more mindful and considerate way of travelling.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that values diversity, prioritises wellbeing, supports learning and professional growth, and promotes fair pay. Gender equality is a core value, reflected in our dedicated policy and the UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification achieved by the Group companies within the scope of certification.

Carbon Footprint

We measure our carbon footprint to better understand and manage our use of resources. During the 2025/26 reporting year, 97% of the electricity purchased for our hotels came from certified renewable sources. We are committed to reducing energy and water consumption, encouraging responsible resource use across our operations, including laundry services, and inviting guests to embrace more sustainable practices during their stay. We also take care in selecting materials and continue to reduce single-use plastics, including through the use of refillable dispensers.

Vista Ostuni: sustainability goes Gold

Vista Ostuni was born from the restoration of the former Tobacco Factory, a historic building deeply rooted in the local area. This redevelopment project successfully combines respect for the original architecture with innovation, comfort and a focus on environmental resources. It has achieved LEED Gold certification, an internationally recognised standard for sustainable building design and construction.

As ambassadors of the places we call home, we are committed to celebrating and preserving their natural, historical and cultural heritage, working closely with local communities and embracing responsible practices. We are proud to be a Golden Donor of FAI (the Italian National Trust), sharing its commitment to protecting Italy’s cultural heritage and landscapes.

Food as the most precious asset

In our restaurants, we prioritize fresh, seasonal ingredients, with careful attention to local sourcing and the quality of ingredients. We choose our suppliers as trusted partners, prioritising reliability and proximity to support shorter supply chains and foster closer relationships with local producers. Our chefs adopt a mindful approach to food preparation, with initiatives aimed at reducing waste, while enhancing natural and locally sourced ingredients. Menus are designed to ensure both quality and inclusivity, including in staff dining services.

Soft mobility

We promote a slower approach to travel. At Vista Ostuni, it's possible to explore the surrounding area by bicycle, e-bike or electric Microlino, offering the freedom to discover the White City and its countryside at their own pace. The Hotel also features an electric vehicle charging station. At Vista Verona, located in the heart of the historic centre and without on-site parking, cycling is the most natural way to experience the destination and discover its most authentic corners at a slower pace.

Circular Economy

Rooted in Italy’s rich silk-making heritage, Vista’s collection of guest amenities embraces the principles of the circular economy. The formulations contain Sericina Integra, an ingredient derived from a by-product of silk production, given a new purpose in skincare. A blend of tradition, innovation and a mindful approach to resources.
