What is a “Società Benefit”?
“Società Benefit” are companies that go beyond simply pursuing profit, operating in a “responsible, sustainable, and transparent manner toward people, communities, territories, the environment, and other stakeholders.” This means that, to be recognized as a Società Benefit, a company must set specific goals and achieve them, so-called “benefit objectives” or “purposes of common benefit.”
We have been a Società Benefit since 2021
As part of LarioHotels, we were officially recognized as a Società Benefit, formalizing a philosophy that has always guided us: doing business responsibly. Alongside our economic objectives, we have incorporated into our bylaws a commitment to generating a positive impact on people, communities, and the environment.

Italy was the first country in Europe to introduce a corporate legislation on Società Benefit (2016), and LarioHotels is among the first in the hospitality sector to adopt this model, responding in a concrete and responsible way to the new demands of high-quality hospitality that is increasingly focused on sustainability.
